About us (well, me really)
The following is designed to simply give you a better 'feel' for me, Andrew Vincent. I've split it into:
Briefly Me
Andrew is an experienced international pharmaceutical & medical device marketing professional with a background in marketing, product & business management spanning pharma, biotech & devices, including running an international marketing team consisting of 15 direct reports. Experience extends to strategic marketing, planning, developing product launches, opinion leader development, symposia & educational programme management, market analysis, developing startegic partners, sales force development & training, marketing trials, materials development, medical writing and more in the UK, Europe and the US.
Educationally, Andrew has a postgraduate Diploma in Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing, backed up by a postgraduate Diploma in Management Studies from the world-acclaimed Manchester Business School and is a stones throw from completing his MBA from the same.

Experience
A brief synopsis of my experience is included below and I can provide more on request. You can also see more detail in
examples where I highlight some of the work I have done, both employed and as a consultant.
Employed positions held, besides consulting roles:
- Managing & Marketing Director (2.5 years, UK subsidiary of a US medical device company)
- International Marketing Manager (2.5 years with sole responsibility for 3 therapy areas across Europe & 15 direct reports)
- National Marketing & Business Manager (4 years with sole P & L responsibility for a therapy area)
- Hospital Specialist (3 years with full responsibility for achievement of sales targets in a single geographic area)
Consulting roles held (just the major ones):
- European Product Manager for 2 therapy areas as an interim position (12 months)
- International Liaison to US partner of a European pharma/ biotech company (9 months)
- Market Strategy Consultant for European pharma/ biotech company (6 months, overlapping with above)

- Setting up & running of a high level International drug development board of opinion leaders in Chronic Lung Disease

- Complete running of a UK subsidiary of a US medical device company in the field of newborn hearing screening
- Traditional international product management for 3 products in different therapy areas across Europe
- Annual marketing planning process for European biotech company across three therapy areas, including assessment of European subsidiary plans
- Much brochure, materials, presentation production including medical writing, agency management etc
- Organisation of clinical trials to extend licensing or to establish market share/ experience
- Management of a European marketing team, including motivation & performance management
- Organisation of a full education & symposia programme to support the marketing of a neonatal product
- National & International booth management, including production of booths, agency liaison etc
- National & International opinion leader management in a number of fields

I also have a fairly detailed knowledge of Chrohn's Disease & Ulcerative Colitis - don't ask why!
